Healing that Broken Spirit

Proverbs 15:4 Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

We all love sincere words of blessings and encouragement. Prayers of healing, prayers of love, simple words that can lift us out of the deepest despair. But do we do the same to others?

Proverbs 10:11 The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

Your words have healing power. As a child of God, you can encourage and uplift others. Let your words be a blessing to your family, your spouse, your children. Compliment them with godly words: “I love you.” “I’m so proud of you! ” “I’m so happy to have you in my life”.

As you bless others, you yourself will be blessed. There are others in your life who need your blessings, your encouragement, your refreshing. Release to them, just as you want God’s release of blessings and love upon your life.

Proverbs 11:25 A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
