Isaiah 43:18-19 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
What are you holding on to, that you need to release? Is it past hurt and pain? Are you struggling to truly forgive someone? Have you been offended, or greatly disappointed? You cannot move forward if you are focused on the past. It is time to look forward to the new things!
Maybe it is someone or something in your life that is an obstacle to your relationship with God. Take that step. Trust the Lord. Release and let go and allow the Holy Spirit to truly fill you up.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
