❤️Prayer For My Children To Develop A Heart For God

Many of us have adult children, or even grandchildren, who we are keeping in prayer. Today, we continue a mini series of prayers, with Bible verses, for your adult children. If any of these prayers are of benefit to you, please share, like, and leave a comment below.

AD!

Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

We know the importance of the Word of God, of writing it on our hearts and of adopting the ways of the Lord. When you pray for your children, grandchildren, brothers, or sisters, ask God to turn their hearts back to Him.  As they get back in tune with the Lord, they will grow in love, joy, trust and faith.

Your personal testimonies to them, of how God has worked in your life, and how He has answered your prayers, will bring a practical outlook of your relationship with God. Always be positive, reminding them of the good and beautiful qualities you see in them.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Let us Pray:

Heavenly Father, I pray that my children will take delight in you and your Word, for I know You will give them the desires of their heart. May they trust in you with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding or the wisdom of the world.

I pray that my personal testimonies will help them to understand the importance of seeking your face. Let their light shine before men so others will see their good works, for we know that this will bring glory to You.

Create in them a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within them. Let not their hearts be troubled, but may they embrace your peace and not be filled with fear. Oh Lord, bless them with your peace that transcends all understanding and guard their hearts and minds. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
